I opened my first company that rendered services to the Russian-speaking community back in 1993. At the time, I struggled to reach Russian-Americans in California due to the little advertising opportunities available. The idea of creating of my own advertising vehicle was borne naturally out of a need to advertise my company’s services. That is how bi-weekly advertising Magazine FACT came to be.
Magazine FACT allowed my associates and I to promote our services to the Russian community. At the same time, other businesses benefited from advertising in our publication and our clientele grew. We were very motivated by the success of the magazine and worked hard to improve the publication, eventually turning publishing and advertising into our main business.
Since I got into the advertising business more than 15 years ago, media resources and opportunities have evolved to become more sophisticated and advanced.
